RA International Sponsor's China Natural Resource Summit in Beijing, China

In October 2011, representatives from RA International senior management travelled to Beijing, China, to attend the 2nd annual China Natural Resource Summit.

As part of the conference, RA International's Chairman and CEO, Soraya Narfeldt, spoke to a large audience of mining executives, Chinese Government representatives, and natural resource investors about decreasing the transition time from exploration to production activities. Some topis discussed by Soraya included practical ways to reduce costs in demanding environments, and engaging stakeholders early in the project lifecycle to reduce mobilization time.

As mining activities move deeper into remote locations each year, logistics, lack of infrastructure and maintaining life support services for employees are becoming increasingly challenging and costly for resource extraction companies.  RA International has specialized in working in demanding environments for over ten years, and has the relevant experience to keep these projects on time, and on budget.

In Beijing, the practical solutions discussed by Soraya were well received by conference participants. This was evidenced by China Mining News selecting to feature Soraya and RA International in their weekly mining publication.  The full text of the article can be found at:
