Once a conflict subsides, fast action is needed to prevent more suffering and help get life back to normal again. RA International can mobilise anywhere within days and has the expert planning skills and experience required to put stable infrastructure in place as quickly as possible. It took us just 36 hours to set up a full-service catering operation in the remote borderlands of Afghanistan. We know exactly what is needed in such situations. Our project experience, combined with our extensive local knowledge and contacts, is what makes our post-crisis mobilisations so successful.
Working in some of the poorest parts of the world means we have a responsibility to assist the inhabitants of the countries we operate in. We design our projects to involve the local community and invest in skills training. Wherever feasible, we use local labour and resource providers, and equip these groups with valuable skills they can use in all walks of life.
